Features of Steel Diamond Fire Pits
Our fire pits are made from nearly 200 pounds of 1/4 inch thick plate steel. Reclaimed sheets are saw-cut into triangles, and individual designs cut into each panel with a plasma torch. The panels are then arc-welded together, and the welds ground and sanded smooth. High-quality hinges are welded on, followed by legs made of 3-inch angle iron. Locking casters allow you to roll the fire pit easily, then lock it in place.
The fire grate is made of sturdy #9 expanded metal, and the nature of the design means that it is supported equally on all four sides. A sloped plate welded into the bottom makes it easy to scoop out ashes using the included metal scoop.
A hidden hole in the side of the clean, perfect diamond shape lets you use the included removable handle to open the front panel even when it’s very hot.
A custom-fitted Naugahyde cover protects the fire pit from rain.
